How Can I Help?

There are many ways to help Living Springs with donations. Below is a list of some of the things that the ministry can make use of. Keep in mind that Living Springs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and your donation is tax deductible and greatly appreciated! Possible Pickup - If you live in Northern Colorado, it may be possible for us to pick up items not easily mailed. While pickup is mostly intended for items listed in our "What to Donate" section, we want you to feel free to submit any item(s) for consideration that you think we might be able to use! Just be sure to give us contact information and we'll do our best to let you know as quickly as possible what we decide.

If you're unsure, it may be helpful to consider the following thoughts.
1. We are based in Loveland, and the closer you are the more able we would be to come and get item(s) of lesser value that cannot simply be put in a standard envelope and mailed.
2. The further away you are the more it will cost us to come get the item(s), and it may not be worth it unless it is of greater value to us: such as equipment, a large stock of a particular office supply, etc.
3. Please be aware, unlike organizations that run retail thrift stores or the like, we can not afford to accept donations of just anything. The item(s) needs to be something we can make use of, or one of value that we can liquidate without a retail outlet.

Again, if you have an item you believe we could use, please feel free to use the form to submit the item(s) for consideration; and in any case, we appreciate you considering Living Springs!

Receipts - For donation of items, Living Springs attempts to provide a receipt at time of drop off or pickup. If you desire a receipt to be sent otherwise, we must have information to identify you with the donation you gave, and your contact information for how to send one. (Mailing items to us with your return address on the envelope/package is adequate.) Living Springs does not attempt to set a value for the item(s) received from a donor. IRS code places the responsibility for estimating the "Fair Market Value" on the donor. Click here for full donor information »

Distribute Materials

An excellent way to help Living Springs is to distribute our materials. As a small ministry, we have a limited reach as to how far away from our offices we can distribute our materials, which means printed materials may not be available in your area. If you would like to distribute our materials at your business, through your ministry, in your church, Bible study group, neighborhood, or anywhere, please let us know!

Shaqah is our periodical that goes out six times a year. If you would like to distribute Shaqah click here to fill out the request form.

To request larger quantities of material than is permitted through the Resouce Shop form, please use the "comments" box at the end of the form, or you can contact us by e-mail or regular mail.

Prayer Support

Prayer is the real need of every true ministry! This ministry needs financial support to do the work, but we need your prayers even more. It's your prayerful support of this ministry which lifts us up and causes us to continue to do the will of God in this world of strife. Remember, no matter where you are, or what circumstances you are in, you can always serve The Lord in prayer. There is no greater support which any ministry can receive than the time believers spend on their knees in prayer!

Some religions will tell you to pray this many times a day or that many times a day, but every day of our lives should start in prayer, end in prayer, and be filled with communication with God all the way in between. (I Thes. 5:17) We all need to pray for our leaders, and especially for the protection of the freedoms we have to do God's will. Unfortunately, these freedoms are quickly being erased in America and around the world by people who only desire the things of this world. We can raise our voice among men, but prayer is what opens the doors for God's will to be done on this earth as it is in heaven! (Matt. 6:9-13)

Some ministries have fallen to the saying, if you can't beat'em join'em; but we know from God's Word no matter what happens in this world, only those who put their lives in the hands of God win anything of lasting value. I encourage you to run, not as uncertainly; and to fight, not as one who beateth the air but in the knowledge that with God all things are possible! (I Cor. 9:25-27, Mark 10:17-27) There are many ministries which, today, try and define success as smooth sailing and prosperity, but we know the harder we try to reach out with the truth the harder the devil will try to stop us. This ministry will only continue and be able to develop the materials we know God has called us to develop, if we have God's will moving this ministry. So, what we beg of you, is that you keep us in your prayers daily as we attempt to reach out with the truth of God's Word!
